Does anyone not like POFQ?

We dont care for POFQ but we also didnt stay there. We visited friends there b/c we wanted to check it out and it just didnt suit us. We found the theming to be lacking something and for us, it was missing that Disney magic. Our friends that stayed there didnt like it either due to long waits for buses, terrible food, ugly room and bad mousekeeping. So between our first thoughts at seeing it and our friends' experiences, POFQ or POR are not for us. But they have lots of fans so it is totally a matter of personal preference.

We love POFQ. Have stayed there 6 times versus 2 times at POR. Although POR does have the sit-down restaurant, the food IMO is hit or miss. I think POR is a beautiful resort but the convenience of POFQ outweighs having a restaurant. We have never had a problem with the bus service. Maybe my expectations are different but I just consider the bus service as part of the Disney Experience. You have to take the good with the bad. You're at Disney, right?? Just enjoy!!

There are two things I don't like about POFQ not sit down restaurant and no quiet pools. Since it's just DH and myself most times we really like the quiet pools. We also prefer to eat at a sit down. We're not big fans of food courts. When my kids were little food courts were good for a quick meal fut we no longer have to hurry our meals.

Well , we did it !! WE switched from WL to POFQ for our December trip !!!!!!!!!! Our TA will also be there for part of our trip and we may bump into her ,that would be cool !!!! As for the lack of a sit down restaurant , it's only about a 10 minute walk to River Side or a short boat ride !!!!!

its not for us. the 1st time I went int he early 90's I loved it but when we went last 4th of july it was a huge disappointment. there was mildew in the bathroom and the pool, stains on the pillowcases, we were locked out of our room and they had to come and fix the door, the service was way slow in the food court and not much of a variety, the ice machine was broke most of our visit. It not one that I would visit again but maybe we had a off week.
