Does anyone NOT do the DDP?

I was happy to read this thread because This is our first yr in 3 yrs not using the dinning plan.I am a little sad because I really enjoyed it but we decided to go without it this yr.With the new changes its not that much of a value.Were going for 11nite so for my family its going to cost around 1100$ we thought we can save money by just eating at CS locations and purchasing a few snacks. Last yr we had so much food and credits we didn't know what to do.Some days we only ordered 3 CS meals and shared we had a few CS left that we bought people who were standing in line meals because we didn't want to waist our credits.Not to mention the 15 snack credits we used to buy snacks to bring home. The only thing that I will miss was having everything payed for in advance.We didn't have to spend 1 dime on food while we were there. I'm thinking this yr just getting a prepayed visa card and just putting all our meals on it. I hate charging to our room because I hate to see the bill when we check out.
