Does anyone like "Stitch's Great Escape??

We saw Stitch's Great Escape in April. Definitely the worst attraction we saw in 11 days at WDW. Really confusing and nothing much happened. I'm amazed anybody loved it but it shows different people like different things which has to be good.

Maybe it has got better since we went - hope so!

My DS24 is a huge Stitch fan. He and DS16 first went on Stitch in April, and then said we needed to do it. I was expecting far worse from the reports here. I think like anything at WDW you can try it and form your own opinions. It wasn't nearly as bad as I'd been led to believe. Personally I enjoyed AE and its sound track with comments like "looks like my mother-in-law" and one something like "this one's fat, eat him," but I think most people were screaming too loudly to hear it! I'll go on Stitch again, whenever the wait is short.

My 10 year old also said the harness hurt his shoulders. I really thought it was terrible and I was mad at myself for wasting time standing in line for this "show"

My 6 year old who loves Stitch was really looking forward to this ride and she was so disappointed - she was expecting the Stitch from the TV show and not the one from the beginning of the movie.

We saw it a week and a half ago. IMO, it is the worst attraction out there. To me it was sitting in the dark, smelling bad smells and having my shoulders hurt. I read all the negative reviews, wasn't interested in trying it, but when we passed it (first thing in the am) there was a 5 minute wait. I figured I'd find out for myself. I was sorry I tried it! My two sons went with me 11 and 8 and they hated it as well.
Try it if the line isn't long, I don't think it's worth any type of wait.

I love this attraction and I think you have to go into knowing its gonna be a little different and just have a good attitude and laugh about it. :goodvibes I think it catches a lot of flack it doesn't deserve.

We all expected much better. My children are 9 and 13, and we all thought it was a real snoozer!!
I don't feel it was up to Disney standards! But...you've got to go for yourself...make your own opinion.

My in-laws "rode/saw" it and said it was a waste of time and told us not to do it, so we didn't.

I liked it, my niece and nephew did not. I think I liked Alien better, but I am a big stitch fan, so I liked it better then I thought I would. I would go see it again, I am not sure I would wait an hour like I did in April though.

I thought it was cute, but I like Stitch. It's not really a must see, but the animatronic of Stitch is impressive. It needs some work, and it could be better. The biggest issue I have seen about it is that it scares children.

I liked it. Some cute gimics. Not the type of thing you would do twice in one visit, though. I wouldn't waste a FastPass on it or spend more than 20-30 minutes in a stand-by line.

Everyone I know that has done Alien Encounter, doesn't like it.

We were very disappointed with Stitch. We thought it was boring. Maybe its because we are an Alien Encounter fan. I would think that this would still be scary to children. But I don't have any small children to say for sure. Just my opinion. I'm glad I tried it but I won't do it again.

We are AE fans but we like Stitch. It seems every time we go they change something else. Since its opened we've gone (Dec, Jan, Mar, Apr, and May). For people that complain that it hurts your shoulders, when the harness is coming down sit up straight, once it is positioned relax, you will be more comfortable. I started doing that when it was AE because I hated feeling the tongue on my head.

I was so excited when I first heard about AE. I thought that Disney was actually going to have something that had an edge to it. I love to get scared. I went on AE and was really ready to get the pants scared off me. When the show or ride (whatever you call that thing) was over I was in disbelief. I went on again, because I thought I missed something. Very very anticlimatic.

Now I understand Stitch is supposed to be a cute show and all, but if it is the same type of thing as AE but themed for children, I think I'll skip it. Disney is a great place, but when they fall short, they really fall short. Put something in that space that lives up to the Disney name.

I read all the negative reviews of Stitch before I went to Disney in May but decided to go ahead and give it a try. I thought it was boring. I'm glad I tried it out, but I'll probably never do it again.

My DS4 thought it was great. I enjoyed it because he was having such a blast. He still talks about it. I can see why older kids and adults might not get it in quite the same way. I would have taken a look at it even without my DS, but it wouldn't be on my must see list. However I think we are going to have to go on it every trip, until my DS gets bored of it.
