I have always used Creative Memories products but purchase some paper, stickers etc at WDW.

Well after many trips to WDW I am sick of the Creative Memories albums. If I buy an album (12x12) from WDW will it fit my 12x12 (new version) pages from Creative Memories?

Does it all work together? or do I need to buy the album AND pages from WDW?

Hi! I just got back from WDW & bought the 12x12 album. The pages are top loading so they are not the same type of pages used by CM, however all of the CM 12x12 papers should work. It comes with 15 double-sided solid color pages (orange, red, yellow, green, blue- 3 each) in 15 page protectors so you will be able to do 30 pages of layouts. It also has a huge double sided pocket in the back. For additional pages you may want to add, all you need to do is go to your local craft store (AC Moore, Michael's, etc) and purchase the top loading refill pages. Of course, I also purchased the scrapbook paper/ sticker pack from WDW to go with my album since I wanted things with the year on it (that is my excuse & I'm sticking to it, lol!)

Are you talking about the pages or the papers?

True 12x12 papers from CM will fit any 12x12 album out there and vice versa. I typically intermix CM products with other products.
However, a 12x12 post album will not hold the page inserts for CM, because of the strap hinge.

Keep in mind that the Disney albums from WDW will not have extra page protectors and no one makes ones that match (you can not buy them at WDW either). Usually I take those page protectors out and buy all new refills so they match.

I do the same thing, Buffy! I have a place where I store the WDW refills until I have enough for an album (15 pages usually doesn't cut it!) and then buy refills so they are the same type in every album. Of course, then I have to re-punch all the holes most of the time to fit.

While I am not fond of post-bound albums, I do love the album cover art from WDW, and every once in a while you can get a good deal while you are there...I bought an Animal Kingdom 12 x 12 for 1/2 price a while ago. I wish there was some sort of conversion you could do to make it a 3 ring or strap hinge scrapbook.

Do you remember, years ago, that WDW had 3 ring scrapbooks? I have 2 or 3 of them in my collection!

I just ordered a Custom Coverset from Creative Memories this morning. It was for our Christmas Album, but I CANNOT WAIT to make one for a Disney trip!!!! Can you imagine my family in front of the Castle? On the front of my album??

I suppose we could scan anything and make it the cover. Like my last trip was last year over the Food and Wine Festival and I had all those photos of the FandW logo stuff. That would be great. I have the 3 ring binders from the Millenium Celebration -hate the 3-ring binder, but love the front covers. Now I can have them on my CM albums.

Head is now spinning with ideas.

Yes, that custom coverset does look so awesome. My upline has a booth at the state fair, and she had three different custom coversets on display, they were all gorgeous! It will be so fun to have my own custom WDW album! First, though, I need to fill up the other 4 or 5 coversets I have around from Disney!

Those custom coversets are gorgeous! I have always taken my refills out of the wdw albums and replaced them, too.

Looking at the coversets did remind me how much I love cm's products, though!!
