How to take a short cut thru the Grand Californian from BW Stovalls Inn? I am just trying to find if htere is a hidden back door to cut through the middle of the hotel rather then walk around to the main enterance.

Yes. Walk up Disneyland Dr and enter the Grand Californian... Go thru the lobby and past the Registration desk to the walkway/hallway that leads to downtown disney. (There are signs to guide you) Once you reach DTD hang a right and you are on your way

And look for the very big hidden mickey that you'll be walking on (half of him at least) as you go up Disneyland Drive.

FYI it's the same back way you'd take from Anabella and the rest of the hotels in that area, and even from PPH.

Wonder! I thought I remembered my dad staying at PP and telling me they cut through the GC. This will help cut down on time! Being near the monorail will help too. Late at night instead of walking through the crowd at main street, hop on the monorail. I know there may be a bit of a wait but worth a shot. Get off there and walk on down Disney Dr. I am more worried about being tired at the end of the day and then walking.
