:confused3 Is it a major problem if I have to change a name in our booking?

We have booked a trip, and are now 44 days out. One of the adults that we booked for may not be able to go, so, if i call and state that I have a replacement for that person (another adult)

will this cost me money? or will Disney just do a name change?

(we are all stying in the same room, and all tickets have been bought and paid for.

It will not cost any money, but be prepared for POSSIBLY a very confused CM. I needed to add (not that same thing as your situation!) one person to our room, Magical Express and to the one ADR I had. When the CM made the change, it erased the other names. We had to start all over, but not with a deposit or anything. I think it was a fluke. The CM was VERY nice, but got easily confused. Oh, they will also ask for the new perosn's address.
 
I'd change the name for the room and the ticket. Also there is the matter of the DME if you are using that service. But ADRs would be the same (assuming you have any) and I wouldn't bother with that since you have the same number of people.
