if I use gift cards to make a purchase at Barnes & Noble online whether or not Mypoints, CR or QR will give me credit? In all my years rewarding I can't believe I don't know this.

I think most of them not state that there is no credit given for purchasing a gift card or using a gift card as payment.

CR:

Points not given for gift certificate/card purchases (exception: GiftCertificates.com) and no credit for items which are picked up in-store or are paid for using a gift certificate/card.

MyPoints:

Unless specifically stated in the offer details, no, you will not earn Points for gift card/gift certificate purchases.

I can't access QR at work, access is blocked (go figure, I can access the others) but I can verify at home.

I went through My Points and made a purchase at Office Depot through their link. I paid for my purchase using an Office Depot gift card I had received as a gift. I received points for my total purchase.

If you are purchasing a gift card, then you will not receive points.
