Does anyone know when they'll close down Haunted Mansion this fall to switch to Holiday Mansion?

Have the dates been announced yet? I can't find anything on it. I see that Halloween time starts September 1st this year, which means Holiday Mansion will be up by then? So any ideas when they'll closed Haunted Mansion down to do the change over? How long does it take them usually? TIA

It will probably go down in mid August. The transformation takes a couple weeks.

This also means that September will no longer be a low crowd time to visit. So, beware everyone.

Probably around August 15th to August 17th it will go down. Yep Halloween Time starts before Labor Day on Sept 1. I prefer the days when DL started the Halloween Time on the Friday after Labor Day!

Thanks, I feared you'd say that. We are looking at going the end of August with some friends who have never been to any Disney park ever. So sad they won't get to see HM.

Pick a different time of year, honestly. Late August is hot and crowded. All the passholders who were blocked all summer come back in DROVES, along with all the families whose kids don't start school until after Labor Day.

When is HM normally closed for the transition from Holiday Mansion back to Haunted Mansion? We're thinking of visiting in late January or early February but hadn't thought about HM being closed.

This year it was later January 30 to February 9, 2023.
