Does anyone know what the usual AP % is for Polynesian in Sept

I am hoping as many on here that the AP rates will come out soon for Sept...historically are they usually more than the 20% GP discount out now?

There is no usual percentage.....There were a few times this year when the Poly only got 5% off.......

Used to I'd say Deluxes got 40 or 45% off and Moderates always got 35% off. However, for the last couple of years AP discounts seem to be alot less than usual and will even be different amounts for resorts in the same category. I know for this past May, Moderates were only like 30% and the May before that PORS, CSR, and CBR were like 30% off while POFQ was only like 20% or 25% off. I know I had a bounceback deal booked for my trip this past May, but was hoping the AP discount would beat it (which it normally does). However, I called the day the AP discounts were released and not only could I not even get a room at POFQ for my desired dates, but the AP discount was the exact same as the bounceback for all four moderates. Alot of people have mentioned how much less the discounts are for the Deluxes this year, than what they normally are. As the previous poster said, only 5% at the Poly, instead of the ususal 40% or 45% we are used to seeing.

The biggest discount I ever saw at the Poly was the 4/3 offer in 2009 - it worked out to 43% off the room price if you booked the package for 7 days.

There has never been anything that high since that time. The bounce back offer I saw this year for deluxes & DVCs was either 30 or 35% off (I booked it, but I can't remember the exact amount). I had an AP rate early in the year at BC that was 30% off as well.

But as the others said, no way to predict what it will be or what resorts may/may not be included for any particular discount %.

I tried to book bounceback at the Poly at a week advertised as not being blacked out (week after Thanksgiving) where the advertised discount was 35%.

I was told there was no availability at the Poly that week (even though I tried to book in February).

So even when a decent rate is advertised, it's often not available at the Poly.

the current rate we have booked now would give us 20% off the Poly...I am hoping the AP rate would be more...
