I realize you are looking for the current price of AKV from Disney, however, if you are looking to compare this information might be helpful.
We currently have 32 listings for the Animal Kingdom. We have a 200 point listing priced at the low end of $80 per point and we do have a 50 point listing priced at $92 per point. All the other 30 listings for Animal Kingdom fall somewhere in between the $80 and $92 per point. Of course, as a buyer you can always present an offer to a seller through an associate and the seller might accept, counter or may be firm at their price.
Just spoke with our Guide. I was told they just found out the new promotion is $112pp, the discount is now $15pp and you get 08 & 09 points. This was for the 100 point buy in as well. I believe he said Dec UY... I think that pushed us over the top as far as buying in.
Forgot to mention closing cost were about $225 or so
Anyone know if with the current promotion the per point discount can be applied toward the down payment? DH is really interested in this incentive due to getting the '08 and '09 points but we're not going to be in a position to buy with cash until February when DH receives his annual bonus. We figured that we could snag it now with financing and then pay it off in a few months, but we don't want to dip into savings for the down payment.
No, the discount doesn't affect the down payment. Down payment is still 10% of the total cost BEFORE the discount. For example: 100 points x $112/point is $11200 and the down payment is $1120. Then $1500 is deducted from the balance. Closing costs of approximately $225 can be financed or paid up front. But the entire 10% down payment of $1120 would be due up front.

yes, call your guide. as long as you have not closed you can switch. I did this on a(almost) buy in at BLT. In the end we got cold feet and backed out, but our guide was great and switched the incentives for us!
Yes, if you already have a December UY. If you do not, you can add on 50 or more points with the current incentives but you will not receive the 08 points. (08 is for December UY only)
If you decide to add on 100 AKV points you can create a new Master Contract with a December UY and get the 08 points.
