Does anyone know of any "special things" to do at Disney ?

I do believe alot of those "special things" are chosen by selected CM's at random, I could be wrong, but I'm sure i've read that somewhere.

We were chosen to be grand marshalls of the parade at MK. Just smile alot and you may get lucky. We were having an early lunch at the Plaza Restaurant and a man came in and looked around. We smiled at him and he came over to our table and asked if he could sit and talk. After a few minutes he asked us to be marshalls and we were thrilled.
I think it is just the luck of the draw to be selected for anything but there are so many special things to do--just watching the flag ceremony--that participating in it is just icing on the cake.
