Does anyone know if we can do this?

Hi everyone,

I'm wondering if anyone can answer this question for me.

I'll be going to Disney this August and will be on the meal plan. My sister-in-law will be joining us and one of her daughters (although she is 15) is a very picky eater. She has some other issues, but this is just one of them. (Long story).

However, she will probably not want to eat anything, but what is on the children's menu (i.e. chickent fingers, burgers, etc.).

My question is, does anyone know that although she paid for the adult meal plan, will they allow her to eat off the children's menu. We are not looking save money, just aggrevation.

When I spoke to someone from Disney dining he said it is up to each restaurant if you can do this. I would think they would want to because they will be saving money on her. After all the children's menu is a cheaper then what she paid for the meal plan.

Thanks for any info.

I dont think there will be a problem. Just explain to the servers that she does like anything on the adult menu. I see why they would have a problem with it you already prepaid for an adult meal on the meal plan.

Others have posted that they were successful getting an adult-sized portion of items offered on the childrens' menu.

We had success last year for my DD11. She's very picky. So they let her choose from the adult menu or the kids menu. It was not a problem.

I go to GG as a 20 year old, I get the child's plate. I've gone to WCC and ordered a kids size kids plate, and paid the price of the kids meal. I've never had a problem ordering a kids meal.
