Does anyone know if the POTC refurb is on schedule?

Yar, maties. Does anyone know if the Pirates of the Caribbean refurb is on schedule? It's slated to re-open on March 16 (in time for the 50th anniversary on Saturday the 18th). I was thinking of going to the park next week -- Weds or Thursday. I'd prefer to go on Weds so as to avoid the extra MMH. However, if Pirates is on target to open on Thursday, perhaps I'll go then instead. Anyone have any insight?

I seriously doubt it will. There is nothing that needs testing or working with a new queue.

I saw them running boats with and without dummies on Wednesday afternoon. I asked a waitress in Blue Bayou as well as a CM outside the Pirates entrance about the opening, and they were both still saying March 16th.

In the AP newsletter I reviewed yesterday they were pushing the 50th celebration on the 18th so I believe so.

We'll be in the parks beginning the 17th and I plan on picking up at least one of these pins.
