We were there in April and they no longer had breakfast choices like they used to. We enjoyed getting a quick counter service HOT breakfast in years past. I am wondering if they just stopped due to Soarin being down. Anyone know??? Thanks!!!

I thought they stopped serving breakfast at Sunshine Seasons.

We were surprised to see they no longer serve Breakfast when we were putting together plans for upcoming trip. Traveling with Sister and Hubby and we have eaten breakfast there each time time they have been with us. It had become a Minnie tradition. Will miss the food variety all in one place that it offered.

1) The Internet killed it.
2) People tried to use this a way to get near Soarin' early.
3) Some of the a group may eat, the others just stood in line at Soarin'.
4) TOO MANY PEOPLE TRYING TO CHEAT THE SYSTEM. *

* At least per managers involved with Seasons.

I so understand this. It is just one recent example of the entitled behavior of some adversely affecting many. I agree with Pogo. We are the enemy. So SAD

Weird, so ppl. used to be able to get into the park before official opening to "eat" breakfast at sunshine seasons, just as an ADR at a table service restaurant?

If that was the issue why would they simply just stop alliwing that. Why would they just not open the building until park opening?

I think you've got mixed up with Garden Grill. At GG you can get a pre-park opening reservation and some people just pay the $10 cancellation fee and use it to get in line at Soarin. Sunshine Seasons is quick service and therefore starts service at 9am.

They did bring back quick service breakfast at sunchine seasons and then killed it off again after a month or two.

Bummer. And kind of surprising since it was always crazy busy when we were there.

Do they serve the delicious blueberry croissant bread pudding they used to have at breakfast at other meals? Anyone know?

I am confused. How could lots of people having breakfast there affect the line?

Do they still have miscellaneous pastry items and such? Do they start serving at 11 now, or what? This throws a wrench into our routine - our other park days, we eat breakfast in the room early and do RD, then eat a CS lunch at 10:30-11 (as soon as the place opens), then leave the park by 2 and have an early dinner at the POR food court. But I LOVE the fish and chips at Yorkshire County, so we've grabbed a second breakfast, or at least a decent snack, at Sunshine Seasons to hold us over until we finish Future World and make it back to WS, then we eat a later fish and chips lunch. I will need to figure out somewhere to eat something reasonably substantial to hold us over til we can get back to the UK, or else return to Epcot for a late second dinner just to get my fish!

That doesn't make sense. I have not seen this as some trick discussed widely on the internet and you can't access the restaurant until park opening as it is not a place that takes adrs.

See post 8.:)

DW and I were there Friday morning and there were only pastries. We were very disappointed when they discontinued the hot breakfast platter. We frequently enjoyed that breakfast after a RD visit to Soarin' and Living with the Land.

Oh, no! We were so bummed when we saw they had closed it temporarily, so now it's permanent? Will miss my berry croissant pudding so much - it was sooo good.
