Does anyone know if HHI is booked for the summer?

Looking for a studio sometime this summer, and with MS closed, I was wondering if anyone had called and tried to make a reservation for a studio and had been denied or had been told they were booked for the summer. Not looking for offers, renting, etc etc just a question.

When I checked in May for availability, there wasn't really anything to speak of...a night here or there in any size accommodation.

June, July, and the beginning of August are my concerns. I assume we could do a half points half cash type of deal, but that would be a good bit more than renting points solely for the entire trip.

Keep in mind there are only a handful of studios at HH, most of the rooms are 2 bedrooms. I doubt very much you are going to find anything for this summer. It books up very early for the summer, it can be difficult to even get something at 7 months.

We weren't able to book anything in HHI in the first week of August; I did put our name on the waitlist, but the CM said that it is usually a very high demand time of year for that resort. Good luck to you, maybe we will see you there.

We tried in february 07 to get something for the summer and the cm was wonderful..he went thru each sun-thurs from the last week in June until finally...we were able to book 1bedroom(or 2 if we wanted) for August 12, 13, 14. It is very difficult for any time from june-august..You would think we learned our lesson when we tried the first time for summer..we just had to add on in 2002 for HHI and we forgot to call at 11 month window..Oh well, that said, its probably booked, but you may be able to get a fri or sat(huge points!) or pay for stay. Worth a try.
