Wow, a big fire that mamed (sic) 20 people and I never heard about it. Nor has anyone else here it seems. And yet last year right before the MNNSHP they had a buffet there in September.

Guess the raging fire wasn't all that bad.

I just returned from our stay 7/18-7/26 at the Poly and it was open the whole time we were there it re opened in Dec

The food is good. It has changed a bit over the years. It is tame predictable tex mex type food. Nothing too spicy. Taco Bell would approve. It is good and we always stop in at least once. We love tacos and taco salads...what can I say. It is not Iron Chef meets mexican cuisine but good fast food. Hey ....someone pass the hot sauce!

I am so happy to hear that this place is opened again!! I was so bummed when we were there September 2005 and they were closed! Does anyone know why they were closed.....the real reason???? Anyway I like this place and happy to hear that it is open....I hope it will still be opened in September!!

It's never been open during any of our off-season visits. I assumed it was open during peak season only and I am hoping, though not expecting, it to be open in off-season September.

The buffet restaurant they turned it into was open in October of '05. No idea if it's open now and if it's TS or CS.

I really thought folks were going to say that this had closed down - it has never been open for any of our visits - July last year and the last 2 Octobers around Halloween - hope it's open at the end of August - or I am not missing too much?
