Does anyone know how much a cab costs from Orlando Internation Airport to DTD?

We're not picking our car up till the next day since it will be late when we arrive, we'll have just hopefully survived a 9 hour flight and we've never driven in the U.S.A before (it's the wrong side of the road for us). So I thought we'd get it the next day when we're all fresh and get a cab from the airport.

Not interested in a shuttle though unless cabs are too exspensive, we just want to get to our hotel at dtd quickly and without stops.

Does anyone know roughly how much it is to a cab from the airport to dtd?

Thank You, very helpful

yeah that's pretty much spot on to my experience.

Walt Disney World has several Alamo car rental shops on property (the Car Care Center near the TTC and at the Swan & Dolphin hotel near EPCOT). If you are using Magical Express to the hotel on arrival, you may consider booking you car through Alamo.

If you are staying elsewhere, Enterprise Rental Car will usually pick you up and take you to their facility.

We did this once & it was roughly $60 including tip. I don't know what, if any, tolls that included.

Just to expand on that...

Alamo and National (not just Alamo) are both at the Car Care Center and at the Walt Disney World Dolphin (but not at the Swan).

All major car rental companies, including Hertz and Avis (not just Enterprise), pick up at hotels on and around Walt Disney World property.

The OP is not asking about how to get rental car, but about getting from Orlando International Airport to Downtown Disney. I presume that the OP's hotel is not at a Disney-operated resort, so Disney's Magical Express would not be an option.

In addition to a cab, another option to consider is a towncar service, such as this site's sponsor, FL Tours. The price is similar to a cab, but it's a pre-arranged ride in a luxury car and it can include a stop at the grocery store.
