We will be at Disney 12/16 thur 12/23, staying at POP with the QSDP.
Me, DH, DD22, DGS11, DGD9 x 2.
When I booked our trip I paid to upgrade my 2 DGD9 to adults (I just showed them all as being 11) so they could enjoy a variety and wouldn't be stuck eating PB&J and chicken nuggets the whole trip.

We want to go to Tusker House Breakfast with our crew and will be paying OOP. I have our ressies for TH and they are referenced to our package ressie which, of course shows 6 adults.

My question is, when we go to breakfast, will they automatically charge us for 6 adult breakfasts since that is the way that we are registered or will I have the opportunity to tell them 4 adults and 2 kids? Eventhough I paid extra for the QSDP for them to have a variety, I am not sure they would eat enough food to justify the cost of the TH adult breakfast. :confused3

Just need to know what to expect and decide if I want to keep the ressie at TH.

Thank you Disfriends :lovestruc

leave your reservation as it is for the time being and when you get to the POP ask them to change it to 2 kids then. If they are unable to do it there then your server will sort it out. We have had a few reservations saying all adults when there have been kids and there have been no problems, most servers charged for kids prices without us mentioning

Since you aren't using the dining plan for the meal the restaurant has no way of telling what your dining plan party is listed as. I guess when you make ADRs over the phone they ask how many adults/kids but online they don't. They'll likely just ask the ages of the kids when you get there and you can honestly tell them 9.

Thank you so much for the info. I will leave everything as is and see what happens but I will definitely check with a CM at POP when we get there.

This is sooo good to know, I just thought since my package ressie shows 6 adults and the dining ressie is associated that they would have 6 adults as part of my dining ressie at TH.

Thank you both so much :thumbsup2 :worship:

Really have no input here because we don't use DDP, but just wanted to say we'll be there the same time as you!

YAY!!!:woohoo::yay::dance3: Just 26 more days!!!
I hope your vacation is AMAZING!!

We have always done the full service dining till this year.
With 6 of us and 3 of them being our grandkids, it is just sooo much easier for us to have everything paid for in advance and not being tied down to reservations, so we added the QSDP. When free dining for December came out, they offered it showing December 16th as the last day of free dining in December. When I saw it, I immediately called and added the free dining pin to my ressie :cool1:
Within a couple of days, they changed the last date for free dining in December to December 15th! Come to find out, someone at Disney had put the wrong date on the free dining offer. I was just lucky enough to have seen it and got it added to my ressie.

That is my pixie dust for my trip :cloud9:

Is it really necessary to have the kids on adult DDP though? I used to work at Akershus and we were very accommodating there. If an adult wanted something from the kids menu, they got to order that but got it in adult size. Same thing for kids, if they wanted something from the regular menu they got that in kids size.

I know you have the QSR, but it shouldn't be a problem at TS restaurants I believe. What decides how much you pay is their age, not what kind of dining plan they've paid for.
