Does anyone know about using the Atlantis pools and beach without getting a room?

I am looking to use the beach and pools/slides while we are in Nassau. I haven't been able to find a excursion that just sells a day pass to the resort. Does anyone know if they have such a thing? Thanks in advance.

We have visited Atlantis during our cruises. In order to use the pools you need to book a room at either Atlantis or Comfort Suites. I think this is the name of the nearby resort with access to the pools for guests.
A recent cruiser mentioned that it is possible to book a day rate at Atlantis for less than the regular overnight rate at the resort.

You would be able to book an Atlantis beach day with DCL. Unfortunately with this you are not able to use the pools/slides.

It is a beautiful resort. Good luck with your decision.

If you are looking for a beautiful hotel with pool/slides/beaches and don't want to pay all that money, go to the Crystal Palace on Cable Beach. It's great and it's FREE!

We booked a room at the comfort suites. You can do it online and
they have a AAA discount . I think I paid $150.00 It was great!
Atlantis was a blast and you don't use the room anyway. We were going to shower in the room befor returning to the ship but be prepared the comfort suites rooms don't have any shampoo.

Otherwise the hotel is a very short walk to Atlantis and for much less. They give towel and a wrist band at Atlantis so there is no problem using any of their slides pools etc.

We had a blast!

Really? You can just go to the resort and use the pool? How does that work? I haven't done much "BIG" traveling, so that is very good and exciting news!!!

Don't have anything to add to the hotel and beach question you posted...Just wanted to know what it is..I've seen alot of things on the board about the Hotel and beach but I don't understand why people book rooms there. Anybody want to let me know?

Thanks

By booking a room at the CS you get access to the Atlantis pools, slides and beach. I guess they have a deal with Atlantis. There is usually alot of information on here about it. We got a taxi over to atlantis and enjoyed the beach area about 2 blocks away, its a public beach. We had 7 people and would have to get two rooms. We did walk through Atlantis and drop a few coins in the machines, and saw the part of the aquarium that is free and the shops and went down to the local beach.

If you mean Atlantis it is a beautiful resort in Nassau. Here is the website. http://www.atlantis.com/atlantis_layers800.asp
In order to use the facilities you must be a guest of the resort (or the nearby Comfort Suites). DCL offers a type of tour to the resort but the tour doesn't include use of the very cool pool.
