Does anyone know about the Asian themed resort?

I hear through the grape vine that this might indeed be happening. Its from a friend of a friend of an aunt, so obviously not the most reliable info, hence why I ask the most knowledgeable of disney experts.

Never heard anything about this. Having said that.... You couldnt drag me out of there with a team of Clydesdales. That place looks awsome!

The Asian was originally planned to be where the Grand Floridian now sits. It was one of the original resorts in the works along with the Contemporary, Polynesian, etc..... an old map is floating around somewhere.... I know I have seen it in posts... I will post the url if I can find it...

As far as I know, there are no plans for the Asian.
