Here's another option so you can still move to Cali and still get your DL fix, but save money:
Move to Riverside County or San Bernardino County, where the rents are cheaper, and get a Disney annual pass. You can go on your days off work, and after a year or so of saving up some money, if you still want to work for DL, you will have some experience and you can go from there.

I plan to work there for a while, save up some money, get some experience, then move on to a new job--one that I'll enjoy to stay at for years, and eventually retire.
SO typical Orange County snobbery!!!!!!! You can't stereotype an entire 2 county multi-million person population any more than you can stereotype people by their ethnic background. I live in the 909 area code, have a graduate school degree, and have never heard the pop pop pop of gunfire in my neighborhood. My quality of life is a lot better than in some areas of OC for sure. I even have college funds for my kids. LOL.
