I am making a scarf and using stockinette stitch, knit one row, purl one row. I am even using a decorative edge stitch. It it rolling in from the sides, like a tube.

Anyone have any ideas why? Would garter stitch, knit every row, do this?

Thanks for any help.

No, I don't but I thought I would bump back to page one for you.

Plain stockinette stitch will curl under. The only way I know to stop it is to use a border -- something like seed stitch, say (knit 1, purl 1, knit 1, purl 1, knit 1) before and after each purl row and (purl 1, knit 1, purl 1, knit 1, purl 1), before and after each knit row.

Hope this helps!
