Yesterday I bought a Chevy colbalt. Oh do I love it. I traded my 2 yr old cavalier for this. I did it because I wanted to do it before I sold my dads house so people wouldn't say I bought it because I had the cash in hand. I guess this was my little pick me up, even though it didn't last, I am taking my dads passing so hard, I need some kind of help, answers, is it going to get better?

Sorry about losing your dad. I'm not familiar with the car, but I hope you enjoy it. And BTW--it's no ones business how or why you bought the car, I wouldn't even worry about it.

 It will get better, but (at least for me) it never goes away. My dad died of pancreatic cancer 3 years ago I totally dissolve into a puddle of tears every once in a while. I miss him most when something good happens that I know he would have enjoyed or been proud of me for. I'm sorry you're stressed about dealing with his estate and what people think. It isn't anyone's business, but I know how you feel and what you're going through. Take care.

Sounds like a great little car. I haven't heard much about them, but have seen one and it looked very cute.
Sorry about your dad. It does get easier, but takes a long time. Mine has been gone 10 years next week. (crying as I am typing this). Some days it just comes rushing back. Especially when I think of something I would really like to talk to him about.
Take care of yourself.

I pick up my car today, I have to learn how to post pics, I have many of Disney also, help please

I lost my dad 11 years ago and my mom 13 years ago, it is never "easy" they played such an important part in my life. I find myself now smiling instead of crying when I think about them. Try to think of the good things that you and your dad did together, or something funny that he always used to say.

When my mom passed away my dad took it very hard and bought himself a white Cadillac Eldereado Converterible, He made a tape my mom's favorite songs and would drive with the roof down and the radio blasting. I think it helped him a little . So enjoy your car think happy thoughts of your dad and don't worry what other people think.
