Does anyone have Roomba?

I just got the roomba scheduler for Christmas and I LOVE IT! i thought my floors were clean, until i set this up and let it go! unbelievable what it pulls up from both the wood floors and the rugs! i have an electrolux vac. cleaner and i do run it almost everyday, and i was surprised what it is missing! i have 2 glden retrievers and the amt of dog hair that wasn't going up the vac was amazing. the thing is genius! from what i have read about the roomba as long as you are good about cleaning it, it will clean for you! please let me know if anyone has any problems with it, and any thoughts!

I love mine.
It is doing something weird now where it backs up and won't go forward. Think it is something wrong with the cliff sensor and have to go looking for Roomba help sites. just haven't had time yet because of christmas.

My Parents love theirs. Dad talks about it like it is a pet or something.

I got one for Christmas and I love it! My dogs and cats aren't so sure though.

YOu will have to let me know if it clogs up with the dog hair. I have a golden as well, and was afraid of what the dog hair would do to it.

We love how ours keeps the fur and dander down in the house. Our cats have gotten used to 'Ella, and don't even follow her around the house while she's doing her stuff.

We've basically retired our upright vacuum, except for doing the area rugs. While 'Ella could do the area rugs, it's a little troublesome to get her to stay up there, and she won't climb up there on her own, from the wood floors, because the pile of the area rugs is so high.

I got DH one for Christmas (cuz he so likes to help aroudn the house - NOT)
I got the whole kit with timer, virtual walls, self charging, etc...
but I don't think we are going to use it til the new house is done
so i think it will sit in the box for 5 months

I'd recommend breaking it out now, getting used to it, etc., if for no other reason than five months from now you'll have lost five months of the warranty.

Patty, get it out of the box and learn to use the thing!!! Think of the complex it will get if ignored for 5 months! And somehow I don't think that the hairs will go away until you are in your new house...
