Does anyone have reservations at any of the Universal hotels for around August 13th?

Hey!

Can you tell me what the best rate you have for any of the hotels and what code/discount you used? We have Fan Club & Loews First (can't find the cards for either though right now ) We want to go for about three nights and are tight on money, but definetly want to stay onsite!

What kind of discount does Loews First offer usually (if any?)

I got a rate of $155 for Portofino (Entertainment Book rate). But the cheaper rates do not start until August 16 (Mon.). I tried the week earlier and it was nearly $100 more!

Pkdcoastrs--We had originally planned to leave on the 13th but the rates at the RP were just too high no matter what discount I tried, over $200 a night plus I need two rooms. Luckily, we were flexible in our vacation time so we just moved our vacation up a week and now are paying $119 Entertainment rate for Aug 22-25, the 21st is a bit higher being a weekend.

August 13 is the only night we could go since we're at the Boardwalk in at Disney for the previous week, and it just happens to be a very busy weekend at Universal. I had a hard time getting anything at the Hard Rock (which my husband and kids wanted), but we finally got a night at $200 with the AAA card.

if you are a gold member you get a suite upgrade for $35 if avalible at check in
