Does anyone have links to trip reports with VIP tours?

I am curious to read up on some of the trip reports for people who used the VIP tourguide service. I saw it on Fridays travel channel show and am very curious about it. I tried searching for some reports but can't find any.

I have never seen any reports with a tour guide. I'm pretty sure if people had a tour guide, they had not found the DIS yet. Many celebrities will use tourguides. You usually will see a CM with a plaid vest at the parks, this is the tourguide. I asked a CM at Hall of presidents and he said the VIP's use back doors at the MK, to move around faster.

I know our sponsor Tour Guide Mike, which you can find a banner on the Theme Park Strategy Board-has a business of his own, that you can pay to be have a Tour Guide. I read it can cost almost $600 a day if you use the Disney CM's. If you don't have a lot of time and want to make the best of your day, then I guess it would be well worth the money. Otherwise, if you have a few months, the DIS is a great place to learn about the Parks at WDW. Visit our resorts board, our Theme Park Strategy Board, our Dining Board.

Thanks for the reply, I do remember reading several years back about one family that did the VIP tour as a splurge. And someone on the theme parks board (on the travel channel thread) said there have been a few reports here on the DIS from people who splurged. I have been on the DIS for many years and I have learned many ins and outs. I just thought it might be a fun "splurge" for one of our upcoming trips.
