Noone should give away their Kohl's cash because all the Kohl's I have ever been near take expired Kohl's cash, so even if you can't use it during that time period, you can save it for future use.

I would be willing to accept any store credit laying around. I'm not picky. Any store will do. I'd even accept new items that people don't want to bother returning to the store for credit. Just include the receipt.
