Does anyone have crocs for their toddler??

Looks like 6-7 is the smallest toddler size. Be careful of the cute little "jibbitz" that you can be to stick in the holes. They break off very easily and can be a choking hazard.

My DD got her first pair last year at age 4 and loves them. She has light pink and purple. We got them at Henry's/Wild Oats, a health food store in CA.

How are they supposed to fit? Anyone I have ever seen wearing them always look like they are wearing shoes that are too big for them.....they all look very wide to me! Is there a difference in comfort from the real Crocs to the payless version?

My 4 yo and 2 1/2 yo ds's love their Crocs. So easy to get on and off and they look so cute. Especially when they are with their 4 cousins who are aged 8, 6, 5 and 3 because they all have them as well. No problems with tripping either. Got them at Dillards for $24.95.

This thread got me thinking...anyone interested in swapping toddler crocs? My DS's are getting too small and they are not worn out at all...so I'd like to pass them along to another DISer (once I get him replacements, he'd be sad with no crocs at all)...anyone up for trades or pass-alongs? DS's are blue and are the Payless version in size 5 1/2 - 6.

We purchased DD 18mo a pair recently at Famous Footwear. We bought the pink Sketchers for $15. DD are in size 5 but they carried them in size 3 (for the poster who asked about smaller shoes). DD likes them and is always taking them off to only "try" putting them back on herself. Can you tell we play Cinderella a lot. She has received loads of compliments on her pink shoes. They are really cute but took a little getting use to.

DD 2.5 has 2 pair of the cheaper airwalks version of crocs and they are her favorite shoes. I love how easy they clean up (she loves her sandbox). She has no trouble walking in them and usually wears them with the back strap forward, so it is easy for her to put them on and take them off herself. Payless had several different colors in her size 6 toddler.

My kiddos have the Airwalks and that's all they'll wear. The 21 month old little girl I babysit has a pink pair of real Crocs and her Mom jokes that she's almost sorry she bought them for her 'cause that's all she'll wear. I think little ones love them not only because they're comfy but because they can put them on and off themselves!

According to Crocs web site, they should fit very roomily - neither the sides of your foot nor the tips of your toes should touch the shoe. It takes a bit of getting used to, but I swear they don't fall off! UNLESS you actually submerge your entire foot up over the ankle in, say, a very deep puddle. Happened to me on my way to the mailbox last week and they came right off!
I don't know about Payless, but I tried the Target version and they were hard plastic - no give, no squish. For me, the real Crocs were worth every penny for comfort.

princess: DD3 loves hers! The fake ones from Payless are just as good as the real ones! And cheaper! More $ for WDW :thumbsup2

I did not like the Target nor the Walmart vesions, but I love my airwalks (payless) version...and of the course the real thing is great too. I could not bring myself to pay that much for shoes my little 2 year old would wear occassionally for just a few months.

In hindsight, she does wear them an awful lot, I could have bought real crocs and got my "moneys' worth" out of them, but the airwalks are fine too (not hard at all).

My almost 2 yr old ds has worn nothing but Crocs all summer. In fact my 10 yr old dd and my 8 yr old ds only wear other shoes for horsebacking riding and soccer. :cool1: I wear them all the time and my dh does too. Once you start wearing them it seems odd to wear "real" shoes.
My dd has a pair of the Airwalks also and she prefers the Crocs - says they are softer.
The toddler has learned how to put them on himself - that right there is worth the $25

My DD has a pair of light blue Crocs in size 6/7 (which is indeed the smallest size that they make.) I got them at a Crocs Kiosk in our mall. I believe that they were 24.95.

They are VERY cute and I agree with the others that they are very easy to get on and off. My DD loves them. I will say, however, that they are not good for running because of the roomy fit. DD has fallen more than once while running wearing them. I think they are adorable, but would never have them as her only shoes.

My DD (2yrs) loves hers!!!! She has the Payless Airwalks. I was actually surprised last week when I stopped into StrideRite to check out their shoes, I noticed they were carrying CROCS!!!!

My 2 year old DD LOVES, absolutely LOVES, her Payless Airwalk "crocs". She won't wear any other shoes. She can climb huge play structures in them and run as fast as her older brother. They are fantastic shoes for her. I am currently gearing up to get her the next size up.

On the other hand, my 5.5 year old DS got a blister on the side of his foot the first time he wore his Airwalks. He will wear them if I ask him to but he much prefers tennies.
