Does Anyone Have any Goats they want to lend me?

I mowed the lawn Tuesday, it has rained or drizzled all week since then. Last night it poured. This morning the sun is out, and my grass is thick and long. I think I need to borrow a couple of hungry goats. I am not sure I will get through the lawn on the first pass without raising the blade to the top.

I don't now, but grew up on a farm - we had a goat named Trixie.

The problem with a goat is that they will eat everything BUT your grass. You won't have any bark left on your trees, they will manage to get into the garbage, and it's impossible to try and keep them tied up or penned in.

My mom had a little goat that would follow her to school. She would have to take it back home. Sometimes it would get out when she was at school and be outside waiting for her. They are cute.

There are some goats across the street for me I would gladly bring up to you. They are constantly getting their heads stuck through the wire fence because they are not dehorned and the mesh is too wide. They get their heads through, but can't back them out because the horns get hooked! I have unstuck more goats than I can count.

Little goats are cute - big ones, not so much! They are destructive! My horses would like your grass though, and would be happy to help. They even fertilize for you!
