Does anyone have a travel trailer they take to Disneyland?

When we had our motorhome, we stayed at:

anaheim resort rv park

(sorry I can't post a link because my count's too low. but just take out the spaces and add .com)

I believe this is the closest to Disneyland. Still a walk, though. I think it's about 1/2 mile from Disneyland, but over the I5 freeway. Kinda long when you've been in the park all day.

We took ours once! We had to get a part installed on it at Stiers RV and that is right by DL. So we took the trailer after and went to DL for the rest of the day! Here it is in the oversized parking lot....too bad they don't do overnight parking!
We have never camped there, no need to... DL is an hour drive from our house. lol

We're going to get one next year and how fun would that be to go and camp at Disneyland! How far is the nearest travel park from Disneyland?

Camping at Disneyland ugg what "fond" childhood memories. Blah.

Give me 4 walls and running water anytime........... Even a junk hotel is better than a trailor..

(and I have a trailor and I am forced to endure said trips once in awhile)

Aww how sad. We camped at Disney World as a child and adult and i love it. I prefer it to a hotel room. My own dirt, my own stuff and if you have ever been to Fort Wilderness, well it is just the best campground ever!!!! I dont know what the campground near DL is like.

I'm not talking about Fort Wilderness, I'm talking about dirt patch USA hell hole dive my cheapskate father made us endure as a kid. BLAH. We always camped with few exceptions they were discusting places and I hated it. Rain or shine, blistering hot or freezing cold mostly filthy places. Had it been fort wilderness I probably wouln't have minded. Although I have heard there is quite the misquito population....

That is a shame. We camped when i was a child all the time and mostly we went to state parks that usually were nicer than the private parks. Of course we liked the private ones better because they usually had a pool, game room, store, etc. There were only a few places we went that were gross. I have been to Ft. Wilderness once in the summer and honestly i dont remember the bugs too much. But the other times we went were in the fall and never had a problem. They do or did have a truck that sprayed occassionally. We camped once at Cedar Point Amusement park in Ohio and i hated the campground. THere were these locust type things everywhere. Even the pool surface was covered with them. Very gross.

My FIL and MIL took their RV down and stayed at a place with "orange" in the name, or an orange sign, or something like that. :) They were taking our Korean cousins down there, and it was only the cousins that went (the older folks, including the cousins' grandparents, stayed at the RV park), so I don't know how it works with parking, etc.

Years ago, DL had it's own RV park. We never stayed there, so I don't know how nice it was, but I would imagine that is was just fine.

I know there's a few RV parks fairly close to DL, all of which I think look fairly nice.

Anaheim Harbor RV Park (anaheimharborrvpark.com)

Anaheim Resort RV Park (anaheimresortrvpark.com)

Orangeland RV Park (orangelandrvpark.com)

Anaheim RV Village (anaheimrvvillage.com)

We almost decided to taking our travel trailer to DL, but decided it was too far (for us anyway).:goodvibes

Check them out and see how they look to you.:)
