Does Anyone Have a Restore & Restyle Convertible White Crib w/ Drawer From Target?

It was regular $199 and was clearanced out? I can't find the model number anywhere on this crib, and I think it's defective. DD has been using it for 15 months, but there is quite a gap between the mattress and the foot or head of the crib (depending on how you shift the mattress) It's not the mattress since I measured it and it falls under CPSC guidelines. It's not really a big deal since she still has bumpers (and no she doesn't climb on them or sleep in them or on them or next to them ) and that fills the gap. But I would like to call Target about it.

Have you tried a different mattress? Maybe see if you can find a bigger one? Measure the crib and then go to your local baby store and see if there really is that much of a difference between the crib you have and the cribs at the store. We don't have that crib, but we have a very thick sealy matress that is very tight in the crib. I think the thicker ones are just a little longer, but not by much. You can try calling Target, but my guess is that is what they are going to tell you. Good luck, hope you figure it out!!!

I'm not getting a new mattress..only because mattresses and cribs are supposed to be a certain size so there is not a gap more than 2cm. I know that a bunch of cribs were just recalled for this exact reason, so I'm wondering if there is an issue with mine. There were also mattresses recalled that weren't the min. size, but I measured mine and it's fine. I've emailed Target so we'll see what they say. It's not so much an issue for me, but I would hate to give the crib to someone else and their child get entrapped in it.
