How do you like it? I never had a food processor but thinking of getting one. It seems the Ninja can also make smoothies which is why I'm leaning towards this one. If not the Ninja, is there another one you would recommend? My budget is less than $100. TIA!

I got one last month. Love it! Smoothies are actually smooth (unlike the smoothies my blender would make...)! Easy cleanup and use! I haven't tried it yet but my sister makes hummas, salsa, etc. in it and it is delicious!

I purchased mine at the Target BF sale for $29. I think you can use the Bed, Bath, Beyond coupon, etc. and get one for under $40!

I got mine at Costco for $35. It includes 3 different sizes of containers, each with it's own set of blades. I've only used it for smoothies so far. I like how easy it is to clean.

Has your sister tried cutting cheese with it?

What all do you guys do with this thing? I have a blender, never use it. Do not have a food processor and have never had a need for one. MIL asked DH if I'd want one of these ninja things. He told me about it because he really didn't know what to tell her. I don't see where I would have a use for it... wondering what all you guys are doing with yours, what it's making easier for you? I don't drink smoothies, don't make salsa or anything like that... since I saw this thread thought I'd ask! :goodvibes

I got this too at Target on BF. I LOVE IT! Right now I am really making baby food with it. My blender kept getting clogged and I was not happy. This is SO EASY! In addition to that, I can see dicing up vegetables (onions, green pepper), smoothies, milk shakes. I also love that it only takes up a little bit of space and it is easy to clean.

We LOVE ours!!! Got it at Sams' Club a couple months ago. I make shakes with it - so smooth.

DH used it over Thanksgiving to chop the onions/celery to put into the stuffing. Worked great!!!

If you like snow cones.... it will make ice smooth for those.

Haven't used it for cheese.... so no answer there, but it is NICE!!

A small receipe booklet comes with it.
