Does anyone have a Mickey Kitchen?

Am looking for some pictures to change over my very small boring kitchen into a Mickey kitchen. Its peach color now and will probably paint it white and hang some Mickey plates up. Has anyone done this and can you give me some ideas? Thanks!

It's not completely Mickey'd out (no wallpaper or paint) but I do have over 30 Disney pieces on display (either on counter or in glass cabinets). Will post pictures when DH brings back my camera. :wave2:

I don't - sorry. But what about white with black and red accents? You could get red/white gingham towels and potholders pretty easily. And now they have (at Target) Mickey Mouse blenders, etc. That would be cute. I'm sure someone has some Mickey Mouse wall paper boarder.

Well, I have a Mickey bathroom. The lower half of the walls is red, then there is a border on three of the walls with Mickey that I got at home depot and the top half is sponge painted yellow (with Hidden Mickeys of course!) I have a soap dish from Disney that is Mickey's hand and towels that are yellow with embroidered Mickey parts on them. I am working on getting a wooden towel holder in the shape of Mickey's head and hanging red or black handtowels on there because I am tired of my kids wiping their not totally clean hands on my yellow towels.

I have been thinking about doing my kitchen in Mickey colors too. I have decided that I have become much too serious in my old age! Anyway at Disney Direct they have cute canisters, dishes and glassware on sale! I am asking for some for my Christmas gift. www.disneyoutlet.com Look for Best of Mickey ::MickeyMo

Thanks so much everyone for the ideas, i will be sure to look at the website Disneycrazymom, I think we must think alike, a Mickey kitchen sounds like such a fun idea, i dont know why I didnt do this years earlier!

Just thought I'd let you know....I was at Target yesterday & there were 1 (maybe 2) red, Mickey kitchen appliances on clearance. One was an crusher & the other, I think, was a blender. :)

I haven't completed mine, but it's Mickey.

White walls, gray cabinets with black knobs. I've got the classic mickey wallpaper borders from the catalog and several tile mickey trivets that will be tiled into the backsplash. Mickey canisters, cookie jar and rug.

I didn't want it to be too mickey, but it's obvious that's the theme.

Mine isn't Mickey, per se, but I'm redoing it in black, red and yellow (and a little white) and will put Mickey hand drawer pulls on the cabinets/drawers.

LadyyRedd, where did you get the Mickey hand drawer pulls, that sounds like a great idea, and my cabinet handles definetly need replacing.

At WDW in DTD in the Home Store. They no longer carry the drawer pulls since they phased the Home Store into one section of World of Disney to make room for Goofy's Candy Kitchen.

This sounds so fun.. I had been thinking of doing one of the bathrooms Tinkerbell.. Mickey sure does sound cuter now that I think about it though..

My kitchen is in Mickey... along with other things..lol

I have bought things from the Casa de Mickey line and put them in the kitchen but I have so many other things in the kitchen too. I can't seem to bring myself to put the other stuff away b/c then my kitchen would be too care and I think it is nice and cozy right now..lol Most would say cluttered I guess.. :rotfl: here are some pics.. nothing fancy, just a few things I have..

(the wine glasses have Mickey heads etched into them. Just for a little added Mickey touch)

I have some Disney cookie jars atop my kitchen cabinets, the Mickey blender, a red chrome toaster, a Mickey and Minnie salt and pepper shaker, a Mickey spoon rest, Mickey trivets, and some other stuff.

I am trying to stick with black, white, red, and yellow.

My kitchen was totally Mickey till we had the re-do. Now I just have all my cutzie things. Plates, cookie jars, and snow globes in the glass cabinets. Salt and pepper shakers, sugar bowl on the counters. My DS also likes hot chocolate so we have tons of the little/big canisters of Mickey's hot chocolate/cocoa on some wooden shelves. I also have tons of mugs and dishes. But my prize possession and best gift ever is a Tinkerbell drawing that says "All you need is a little bit of pixie dust" that DH got framed and sent to me for Mothers Day from our trip to Disneyland on the wall.

DD also wants to be a photgrapher and made an awesome print of the Tower of Terrior some reverse negative thing so it looks real spooky. That hangs bellow Tink.

My house has all things Disney in it because it is such a big part of who we are. We also have hidden Mickeys on the walls.
