I am so excited, we built a new almost a year ago. and DH let me design the house. He agreed to let me even have a Disney room built on. OH my, well we have been in the house for several months now. My disney things remain packed in boxes put away. My room has been empty, as I wanted to wait until I could get curio cabinets bought to display my things.

What a wonderful MIL I have, we went out the other day and she surprized me. We ended up going to every furniture store. She told me to pick out the curio cabinets that I wanted for my Disney Room. I could not believe this. My dh knew all along. Dear MIL is buying me the big one and DH is getting me the corner one. I am so excited, I will soon be able to get all my things out. I have been collecting for almost 20 years, so I do have alot.

I went out and bought one of those big trees to sit next to one of them, I am going to put the white lights on it. Oh I am so excited! My house is almost complete. When it is done I am going to figure out how to put a pic of it up on here to share with everyone.

I am just so happy, now I can go to Disney whenever I want without leaving my home. :Pinkbounc  :bounce: princess:

I too will soon be decorating my computer room with all my Disney stuff. :teeth: :hyper:

Our living room had all of our nicer Disney prints, cels, and posters in it. Our upstairs playroom has about 10 framed Disney movie posters on the walls.

It is our upstairs bathroom, however, that is my absolute favorite room in the house. The walls are 2/3 (bottom) red with black sponged over it. Then there is a band of yellow and the upper 1/3 is plain red. The yellow band is bordered by strips of black molding. Then I stamped Mickey's gloves (white) shoes (a darker yellow), pants (red) and ears (black) stamped on it. The shower curtain has the same parts on it as the stamps on the yellow band. We even purchased the Kohler sink that has Minnie sliding toward the drain and Mickey clutching the edge with one hand and Minnie with the other. I always smile when I walk in there!

We redid our bathroom in our old house 3 years ago - the Kohler Mickey Mouse sink with the faucet handles, the towel bar and toiler paper holder with the Mickey hands, and all Mickey accessories. Then we moved :(

And we built - and did the kids bathroom all over again. We even found Corian with specks of color in it. I wanted to do the other 2 bathrooms in the other Mickey Mouse Kohler designs but DH said no.

There is no Disney-free room in my house! We even have a monorail set up in the bonus room (aka Man Town) with all the rides and hotels.

Did I happen to mention my son's name is Mickey? ::MickeyMo

the ONLY Mickey free rooms in my house belong to the kids....LOL

We have 3 rooms in our house that are done in Disney!::MickeyMo ::MinnieMo

My bedroom is done in Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse! It mostly has Minnine Mouse in it, because Minnie is one of fav.::MinnieMo The room is done in pink and a little bit of a soft purple color. It is just a fun room to be in and everyone that see's my room, says it looks like a mini Disney museum!

And our kitchen is done in Whinne the Pooh in friends. That would be my moms fav., because she loves that Pooh bear!

Our down stairs bathroom is done in Mickey Mouse and friends! It is such a cute bathroom, who would think a bathroom could look so cute! LOL
It has a Mickey and friends border up above, going around the whole bathroom. We also have two small pictures in there that you can look at.

Michelemouse- Where did you get that Kohler sink that has Minnie sliding toward the drain and Mickey clutching the edge with one hand and Minnie with the other? That sounds so cute and it would look really cool in our bathroom!

My DD's room is the princesses, DS's room is Pooh, My craft room is Mickey Sorcerer, My kitchen is Mickey, and all my Disney lenox is displayed in the living room.

Sorry I don't have and digital pics, and I wouldn't know how to post them. I'm Technology chanllenged.

Yes, the Mickey sink is about $400, but Home Depot gave us 25% off of the list price so check there. We were really concerned about how well this sink would handle the wear and tear of a kids' bathroom but it's great!

Here is a picture of the sink. http://www.us.kohler.com/onlinecatalog/detail.jsp?prod_num=14272-D1

If you do a search for "Mickey" at www.kohler.com you'll see they have several designs.

Edited to Add: The Kohler website lists the current price for the sink at $472.60.

You go Mickey 88!!! I love it!

I have Disney touches everywhere in my house. My DD's room is princesses. My office has posters of all 4 WDW parks. I love the bathroom ideas! That's my next plan!!

My DD's room has hand drawn and hand painted characters on her walls. Tarzan, Mrs. Potts, Belle, Mickey, Ariel, Zazu, Sebastian, Lumiere, Jesse, Jiminy Cricket, Flik, Tinerbell and Timon and Pumbaa. All were done by myself and has been very time consuming. I just finished Lilo, am in the middle of Stitch and have yet to start Nemo and Dory. I have pictures on my digital camera, but I am too computer-challenged to insert them into this post. ...

We just finished our downstairs 1/2 bath in Mickey. The kitchen is also Mickey complete with the pewter Mickey pulls on the cabinets. Our music room will be Disney when we are through. My daughters' bath will be Springtime Pooh. The playroom will be Mickey inspired. Actually, there are touches of Disney everywhere.

I have Disney touches in about every room in the NJ house...a cel here, a snowglobe there.

The Florida house will be about the same, although I'm taking it a step further. The guest bedroom has a Pooh theme, and the guest bath is Mickey!

I mostly did that for my neices and nephews :)
