Does anyone happen to know of any restaurants in WDW or resorts that will seat a table of 12? I know most of the restaurants have tables for 8 and will split the party. We had issues with this on our last trip with a party of 14 and was hoping to avoid it! Thanks for any help!
PS specifically if anyone knows if Ohana or Chef Mickey can seat 12 that would really help!!

I am interested in this too, I will have a party of 10 my next trip.

We have done a week as a group of 17 and another week as a group of 11. At most places we were seated together as one group.

There are some places where it is not possible. At Sci Fi, Coral Reef and Crystal Palace we were split.

Weird Crystal Palace we were all seated together as 14? At Tusker house we were split into 2 tables and there was one other place that I can't think of at the moment.

I'm assuming it would depend I what tables are available. If they have a table for 14 or two for 7 open.

Cape May Cafe has a room to the right of the hostess desk that can be set up for large groups. We were seated there at one giant round table.

For our Grand Gatherings our party of 12 has been seated at one table at Narcoossee's, Grand Floridian Cafe, Chef Mickey's and Citricos.

Citricos was especially nice because not only is the food there wonderful but we were seated in a private room called the Chef's Domain.

We had a party of 12 on our last trip and they never separated us. At Le Cellier we had 3 tables but all in a row right next to each other. At Ohana, Whispering Canyon, and 50's Prime Time they pushed the tables together. No problems at all.

We have done large parties over 14 at both ohanas and chef kickstand were seated together...

We had a large party of at least 14 at Kouzzina for breakfast, and the service was very good for the large party we had (plus 2 extra tables in the party).

We had 16 at Ohana and Crystal Palace, and 10 at Yachtsman Steakhouse.

We had twelve at the California Grill last April and they put us all at one table in the little room on the left with all the wine bottles near where they make the sushi (sorry I can't be more specific). It was a dinner reservation as well for a Tuesday evening--hope that helps!

There is no restaurant that will absolutely guarantee at the time you arrive that a party of 12 will be seated at the same table. Depends on what is available when you get there. However, most of them have the capability of seating the party at one table. Those that do not, to my knowledge, are Sci Fi, Teppan Edo, and Biergarten. There are probably some others.

This might not have anything to do with how Disney World operates but I can tell you real life experience from the past ten years outside Disney World.

We've had our family go to Gatlinburg, TN for the same weekend for the past ten years. We have always had more than 10, less than twenty. At times, we are seated with tables pushed together. At times, we are seated with two tables directly across from each other. At times, we are seated with two tables back to back.

Same weekend, same crowd.

It all depends. Maybe the restaurant is busier. Maybe the wait staff is different. Who knows?

You will be treated as a group, that's the important part.
