I don't see the OP as "begging" just asking what other people do in the same situation. She got lots of great advice and took people up on it. what a mean-spirited response!
We never plan more than 2-3 weeks out, and 9 times out of 10 I've found a reservation within that time frame. Caveat: There are only 2 of us, and we don't mind late seating times, so ymmv.
I have a 5:40pm dinner on Thurs, Sept 1st I am going to cancel. If anyone wants it, PM me. Now that we are paying OOP, it's not worth our family to go, would cost us over $200. Had free dining before but not going with a deluxe at a discount price.
hollydolly08, I'm experiencing the same which is why I joined this board! Not sneaky. Our family is headed back to Disney and gave up trying to get Ohana last time. This trip, we only have 3 restaurants that we want to go to and could only get 1 reservation. I'm determined to get the other 2!!!!!

Best wishes to you, I really hope you get the 2 other ADRs!! I'm really impressed with the Touring Plans reservation finder (there's a link in 1 of the comments in this thread) you should give them a try if you haven't yet.

It wasn't intended to be mean spirited at all!!
We all want those hard to get ADRS at times! I feel her frustration! Especially when you plan ahead and still get hosed over by WDW changing their hours way past 180 days out.

I got an ADR for 14 on November 18th. Took about two weeks of trying after the 180 day mark. I used the app on my phone, and selected "dinner" for my time. Keep trying.
I have multiple Ohana reservations, but I am holding them until WDW firms up the October hours. Maybe there are others that are uber-planners like me and then there will be random batches released after their plans get firmed up closer to 60 days out?
Yes, people cancel. I am going to cancel one in July pretty soon, for instance. Be sure to check the cancellation thread here on the boards for your month - you might be able to coordinate with someone. Also, my understanding is that there are a fair number of cancellations just a few days beforehand, when people start being faced with the possibility of paying the no-show fee.
I got a reservation for three people two days before in early December. I also saw this past Wed that I could have gotten a same-day reservation, but it was later in the evening. So, hang in there! I think you'll get what you want eventually.
