Does anyone ever cancel for Illuminations cruise?

We didnt think that this was something that we wanted to do with DS who is in a wheelchair but after reading a few posts on the dis"abilities" boards now we think we should give it a try...only problem is we go Aug 12. Does anyone ever cancel? Do we just call daily to see if there have been cancelations? Are we INSANE to think that there may even be a slim hope of trying to get a cruise? Thanks for the info.

There's always a chance of a cancellation. Just keep trying daily. Something may come up. Be at the dock that night and see if someone doesn't show up.

Another option is to post here , on the Illuminations Cruise Central for August and see if someone might be willing to share.
