Does anyone ever cancel Dining with an Imagineer?

When I called I was told it wasn't open for booking yet but today when I tried to book it on line it was full (lunch and dinner) for the week and half we are there. I am very sad as my dd really wants to do this. I would need three seats (my dd, my dh and dd's friend that will be with us). Should I keep calling or is it hopeless? We are there at the end of August.

Did you call today or call a while ago and just check online today? My guess is that it will say it is full online until it is actually open for booking- I know when we did it last year I kept calling and it didn't open until either 60 or 90 days out from our trip.

By the way did you try BOTH events? The lunch at BD and the dinner at Flying Fish?

Sometimes. But since it's limited to only ten guests, there isn't much chance.

You need to book it at your 180 day mark.

We got 3 Dine with an Imagineer lunches booked for our trip last year. I called at our 180+10 for them all. We have just 2 of us though.

I called a day or two before and then started checking on line. It is there now as I can a single spot on one day but not 2 or 3 spots for either lunch or dinner. I will keep trying and hope that something opens up while we are there. Next time I will start trying at our 180 mark (when I booked a lot of our meals). I didn't think it was available at that point but maybe I needed to keep trying that morning (although I was told the dinner wasn't in the system as of two days ago).
