That we could log into VMK to work on our rooms "after hours"

There should be a way to program that in so that you could log into your account but not be allow to travel anywhere except your own rooms...would be so helpful when trying to redecorate!

LOL, love it Mal!!

It took me two weeks to put up my silly little river ride, just because I love to chat with friends! So many friends are so sweet to stop by. But it can hinder the 'creative juices' that are not so free flowing anymore in this ancient duck brain!!

But hey, the ride is done, and I had great times with eveyone that did stop by, many even offering to test it for me!

Alternately, they could stay open longer if they turn off talking and trading at "closing". Those are the only interactions where others could bother you enough to need staff, at least "right away".

If you're just redecorating, it might be nice to still be able to get to stores. The Shop button doesn't get you specials.

On an unrelated note, at some point they may still need to come down for nightly backups.

I know you are probably right but would be nice to have quiet time where you could work on your rooms...not saying I do not want visitors just a time after gameplay to redecorate and shop you know us girls!

I'd settle for another button like the friend's button for a room- that is "locked" so that only the owner can enter it.

It would accomplish the same function without having to stay open later- or anything- although- yes there are times I'd like access to one of my rooms but not the rest- the last few evenings most of my time was redecorating rooms and going from store room to store room to collect things- and doing a little shopping to fill in the missing things too-

And although I was never really bugged by visitors- the ones that did stop by usually stay off to the side or in the door way when I tell them what I am doing and chat off and on before leaving because I wasn't that great of company

Of course having the "locked" function would make it difficult if you wanted advice from someone else (like many of the zeta's and their pals did for the haunted rooms) but didn't want any unsolicited imput from anyone else lol...

I think that's a great suggestion, because talking and trading are the only things that cause urgent problems. I would love to have time after closing to just redecorate and buy buy buy.

Don't get me wrong, I really do 'heart' all my friends! I changed my "AFK" room title, simply because I thought this idea would work - If only we had access to VMK records I could prove that I get more visitors there in my "Not in Any Room" than in my regular rooms!

it would be great but im over on the east coast so VMK closes at 12 midnight for me so i dont think i would be up until 3am working on my room

Just a note. I gather you have not stayed up for any of the closings. It doesn't close for us until 1 am!! Not midnight. (btw, welcome fellow BayStater!)

hmm... well they could do what they do at magic kingdom, all the ride close at a certain time but main street is open for an hour later, to get the people out. They should let us in all the stores and mainstreet and our rooms, for hour or so and let us in our rooms early like we are guest room at a real resort, getting ready for the day. i am with mal, i would get some things accomplished. ( Need Lots of coffee!)

they should have a contest and One player gets a code to enter the kingdom after hours like before a big event (like the opening of tomorrowland) but then they would have to change the log in screen for that one person
