Does anyone else use these?

This may sound really dumb, but my kids have all gotten use to having a small fan in their bedroom - mainly for "white" noise, but also for extra circulation. We will pack one alot of times to take to hotels with us. One of the kids is already asking if we will be brining one. Is there a fan in the room? Do people ever request them? If we brought one from home, could it even be plugged in?
I've checked on all of the "what to bring" lists, but have never seen this one.

Thanks for any help. Thirteen days and counting!!:sunny:

I know people bring "white noise" machines, so I'm sure a small fan would be fine. I've never heard anyone requesting one, so I don't know if they're available.

I would bring an extension chord. Many people do because there are limited outlets.

I have seen where others have brought them and yes they can be plugged in no problem the tv slides out of the case it is in and there is a spot in there also another outlet at the desk..

We take a white noise machine where ever we go---most recently on the Magic. We turned it onto, what else? ocean surf! :)

I always travel with my little travel fan! I took it with us on our first cruise in March 2003, and it will be going with us this coming March on our second cruise aboard the wonderful Magic. There was a place on the desk to plug it in. I had taken an extension cord but I never used it. I guess if you have some electronic equipment with you an extension cord might be necessary, but we don't travel with any. Have fan will travel is my motto. Have a great cruise, you are in for a wonderful time!! :bounce: :Pinkbounc

Erminda (Brenda) love the wind in my hair!!

I'm with you on the fan also, but they are not available on the Magic. I did ask and they sadi no, bring your own.

DS and I both have to have our fans on every night to sleep. When we go to WDW I always take his small fan, but on the cruise I take a white noise machine because it takes up less space in the suitcase.

Both my kids sleep year round with small fans running in their rooms, but we didn't bring one. They slept just fine.
But you can always put the TV on a channel that isn't being broadcast on, and turn the brightness all the way down as a backup.

tvguy,
What a great idea! I have to have noise and that would be a great backup!
