JMHO, No, I think Gwen Stefani has much more Talent, a better singer, more versatile,has her own unusual style.
I only remember Blondie having a couple of big hits,
tho I certainly remember the huge poster my oldest son had of her on his bedroom wall. LOL
Tho, I'm not really a huge fan of either, Gwen Stefani does have a fascinating Charisma.

Are you having a debate with a fan of one or the other?
I have a younger friend at work who is a big fan of No doubt.
I could ask her if you need info .

I had a young teenager compare The Backstreet Boys to the Beatles.

Maray, I saw a pic of Gwen and her hubby on something the other day and for some reason they reminded me of Debra and her hubby (or SO, I can't remember if they got married or not). No debate, I just see a few similiarities. Gwen is a better talent, but I see her and Debra as kindred spirits of sorts.

I only know of Gwen Stefani from a duet she did with Brian Setzer on one of his CDs with his big orchestra. Very talented with a very sexy voice...

Debbie was punk & then went disco to get more exposure.
Gwen was ska & then went pop to get more exposure.

Debbie started in the historic punk rock club CBGBs.
Gwen came from the punk powerhouse of OC.

Both are obviously not natural blondes.

Both have similar vocal styles.

Both have similar attitudes.

Debbie was hot.
Gwen is hot.

I only hope that time is a lot more kind to Gwen.


All I can say is if a girl would make herself up like Gwen in the Spiderwebs video I'd be severely twitterpated!
