Does anyone else think Disney After Dark testing is the reason for the delay in June hours update?

I wonder if they're waiting to see about adding Disney After Dark in June.

But it's an after hours event. I thought the presence of that event wasn't supposed to affect regular park hours at all.

Not that it matters. My personal thought is that they won't continue past what was already announced.

In June the park hours go to midnight - are you really going to pay for hours past midnight? And if they take away the regularly scheduled hours from park guests.... well, I will not be happy at all.

I just wonder if capacity for the summer is lower than expected with all the "summer" discounts they've offered this year.

Maybe Disney has done too good of a job encouraging people to come during the Value season with all the parties, run events and other discounts.
I mean we've had people complaining how crowded it is all year thus far.

Maybe people have just eventually started coming during the "slow" season because the summer was too hot and crowded .. and have thus made summer the slow season?
Hah .. who knows.

I'm also confused why you say that park hours aren't scheduled yet. My plans and itinerary show the park hours for our late June trip.

Marketing for more attendance doesn't always mean business is down.

I'm still scratching my head over them lifting some blackouts over Easter this year.

Historically Disney starts with shorter hours then extends them about 6 weeks out.

I think there are still a few people waiting for Easter week hours to be extended. ;)

The park hours are scheduled but MK is closing at 10pm on our day. I'm hoping it's extended to 12am.

There is now a 7:45am to 9am Ticketed Event at MK scheduled for June 18th. I think the After Hours/Before Hours is going into June. Btw, this is only showing up on the App not the website.

On our day it still shows MK closing at 10pm.

There is a calendar of hours out, but it shows daily 10pm closings, which would be very different from most summer days. People are assuming and hoping that a change is still to come.
