Does anyone else love to receive Christmas letters?

I It's almost become a joke in our family. We look forward to it, but then gag over it as we read it.

I read it out loud to everyone and we are hysterical. It really is funny! I guess I would miss it if they stopped sending it. We really enjoy laughing about it! LOL!

Yes, DH and I enjoy them. I don't read all of them from "his" friends, but they are a good way to keep up. Both of us have friends and relatives all over the country that we rarely see. We enjoy finding out what they've done all year, even if it does sound like "bragging." When we get a card from someone out of state that we haven't seen or talked to all year and all it is is a card with their name signed, all we know is that they didn't die this year. More info!

I like them, too, but none of the ones we get are boring or overly pretentious. I like hearing about what's going on in my loved ones' lives. If I didn't care enough about the person to want to read their letter, I'd probably stop exchanging cards with them in the first place.
