Please put down the flamethrowers, I am not making light of depression or endorsing drugs.

I just love that sad little blob guy and seeing him get happy again and chase the ladybugs and butterflies, and join the dance party. I wish they made a plush one--I just want to give him a big hug.

I sure do! Another favorite of mine is the St. Joseph's aspirin commercial with the bouncing pill and the cute little jingle.

See they kinda scare me like that freaky Snuggle beat .. He is waiting in the washroom for me .....

YES! LOL! Whenever he's on, we say, "Aw, poor little thing!" Then he gets all happy. It's cute! :D

I never paid any attention to that commercial. I'll have to make note next time. Sounds cute!

I HAVE severe depressive disorder and I LOVE him too!:D

I don't use Zoloft, but I do know what it's like to feel that awful and find something that can make you feel all better. Me and the Zoloft blob have alot in common.:teeth:

Thank you! And if I should ever find a stuffed Zoloft blob, I'll send you one in return for the impromptu hug.:D

Amazing what Marketing can do. Yes, it's cute. I wouldn't touch it with a ten foot pole though. I have a friend who has a "rare" complication/side effect from it. :(

Sorry about oyur friend PinWizard, and I understand thatonce someone has had a personal experience with a medication, if there's a side effect it can "turn you off"/

However, for many people Zoloft is a life-saver. Different people react differently to meds, and your firend's reacition might not be a reaction that you or someone else would get.

Zoloft has been my life saver and I am very lucky not to have any side effects from it.

I would also like the blob. Maybe we can e-mail the makers of Zoloft and give them the idea? I believe it might be parke davis.

I believe Pfizer makes Zoloft.

Like I said, I am not endorsing Zoloft, I just love that cuddly blob.

I do think that those simple cartoons are very effective in helping those of us who do not suffer depression or social anxiety to get some understanding of how it feels for those who do.
