Does anyone else like Kathy Griffin?

"Oprah is a bad, bad woman who tortures Mrs. Kathy." :rotfl2:

She found heaven on earth when she stumbled upon a Mexican town where they had no idea who Oprah was. :lmao:

"Allegedly stumbled! Allegedly!" :lmao:

Love her! Even DH will watch her standup specials and he isnt a big fan of stand up. We saw her live and she was great. She is tiny on tv, but really tiny and thin in person!

She reminds me so much of Fran Dreshner, which in and of itself is bad. I didn't like her when she appeared on Jerry Seinfeld and I like her less now. She has had her chances--I don't know why she wants the world to feel sorry for her and I certainly don't see how that makes humor.

I don't quite understand how you think she wants the world to feel sorry for her:confused3

anyway, I love her! Personally I think she's really fun, I really enjoy that kind of humor!

I think she can be very funny, although mean, about celebrities. I saw a little bit of an old episode not long ago where she was crying because Jay Leno told her on his show that she was like the friend who comes to the bar with the hot girl everyone wants to date. I was surprised she was so upset since she says mean things about other people all the time.

I really enjoy her.

I cracked up laughing at the Anderson Cooper NYE episode, and then a few eposides later she called him "Andy Coopy" in her stand-up routine.

I definitely recommend seeing her live -- was surprised that when I went and took my 70 year old mom that there were TONS of seniors in the audience (plus lots of young couples, straight and gay). My mom was concerned she might feel a bit out of place, but the whole place was reeling with laughter for the entire show.

What you see in the specials is what you get -- she doesn't really repeat material, but the tone is the same. Celeb stories, behind the scenes stuff. She's not any more obscene in person if somebody's worried about that. Maybe even less.

I just saw on perezhilton.com (take it as you will), that Jessica, Kathy's assistant, has quit.

I wonder if that will be in one of the shows? That seems like it would be a good gig for an assistant, they also get to be on T.V.!

The part That I don't really "see' is her "dating" Steve Wozniak. He comes off as a bit of a goof. Dosn't seem all that sharp.

maybe just the editing?

See now I am bummed! I have not taken in a live show of hers yet and I was hoping it was even more outrageous than what i can see on tv!! Oh well she still is tooo funny!!!

Oh no! I wonder why. Did it say?

From www.perezhilton.com

Sources reveal exclusively to PerezHilton.com that Kathy Griffin's long-time assistant and My Life on the D-List co-star, Jessica Zajicek, has quit.

And, "it's not pretty," an insider tells us.

The split happened earlier this month.

Unfortunately, her Bravo show is not currently under production, so we'll miss out on the drama on TV!

"Jessica had just had enough of Kathy," says our insider. "She put up with her for several years. She couldn't take it anymore."

Sad to see her go. Jessica was a huge part of Kathy's show!

I think she is very funny but--someone has to say it-- her face is starting to really creep me out! She needs to lay off the plastic surgery and botox. Her eyes  just give me the willies lately! She is very beautiful but she is ruining it, and I think it actualy makes her look older.

I was sad when her dad died and sad to hear about her husband. They seemed to great together.
