Does anyone else have a love/hate relationship with their computer? (Whine)

Ugh, I am so disgusted with my computer right now! (Partly disgusted w/ BF too...)

BF downloaded a program and hardware last night, but for some reason it interfered with our internet connection, as well as our antivirus program (the new program also includes antivirus and firewall software -- I think there were some compatability issues with our current software). He was really tired when he was doing this, so he's not even exactly sure what he did!!!

So we uninstalled the program, and our antivirus still isn't working right! We spent a big chunk of time last night trying to fix it, and I've spent the last 3 hours working on it (BF had to work today), and still no luck.

BF has a techie friend who's going to come over later to look at it. Hopefully issues will be resolved by tonight.

Thank you for listening to me vent/whine. I feel better already!

I know what you mean. I work with computers 8 hours a day at work and I definitely have a love/hate with my computer. Heck my mantra has always been.... if all else fails... reboot! Tells you something about my life. Add to that a DH who's technologically challenged, so everything ends up on my lap!
