Does anyone else HATE beer?

I really hate beer. I hate the smell of beer. When I was 18 the drinking age was 18 and I attempted to drink beer. YUCK! I really think that if I were dying of thirst in the desert, I wouldn't be able to swallow a mouthful. I have even tried those disguised beers, like Zima. Yuck! Does anyone else hate beer?

I've never drank. Im too wild sober, to trust myself with alcohol, but I HATE the smell of beer. YUCK!!

I really don't like beer and won't drink it at all...but if I were dying of thirst in the desert, I think I could manage a drink or two!

Now, the zima wasn't too bad...but I'll take a wine cooler anyday!

i like beer, at one point i reallyy liked beer, ( a little too much) now i want a couple nice cold budwiesers during the evening a couple days a week, beer should be bottled, cold, and domestic.

I have never liked beer, but it wasn't until I was pregnant with my first that the smell really made me ill. To this day I can't stand the smell.

Beer is pretty vile stuff. They say if you are very hot and the beer is really cold it tastes good. I have yet to find that so.

Had a bit of a drinking problem at the ripe old age of 14 ( hey others were already doing hard drugs) .I came home one night and wrecked my dirtbike into a house (in the city no less) Thank god my helmet was on the bike or I would not be here on the Dis today.

Went right for the hard stuff Segrams7 or Jack never liked beer (what does a kid know of taste) .

Since that day I have never had a drink AT ALL nothing ,nada,zilch.

I never did any drugs at all ever and don't even like taking asprine ( percicetes for my Kidney stones but I'm only human)and some motrine for my bad knees every once in a while.

I have NO problem with others drinkers and was a very good designated driver for many of my friends . I just choose not to .

My DW drinks about 3 times a year on average and gets hammered after a few drinks.

I hate bad beer.

But I love good beer.

I think beer is like a lot of things. It's just personal taste. But, I think of it like drinking wine. The cheap stuff is pretty vile. You can find a very decent bottle of wine for $15, but the $5 stuff is usually pretty nasty. Same with beers. You don't really want to be drinking the stuff that costs $1.99 a case, lol.

Some of the good beers are pilsners and lagers, or the weiss beers. My favorite are the German weiss beers, but some of the Czech beers (Czechvar) are really not bad.

Yep! I agree wholeheartedly with this! I, sometimes unfortunately, do like beer....a lot! However I only like cold, bottled, domestic, light beer. And only certain kinds. I guess you could say I'm kindof a picky beer snob.

I have tried and tried to like beer. Everyone looks at you strange and thinks you're a wet blanket when they're handing out beers and you say "no thanks". I just can not stand the taste. Ironically, I happen to LOVE the way beer smells on my husband's breath, and it makes me kiss him a lot.

I really do not like the taste of beer - never had and never will. However, I think I did drink a lifetime of it during my 4 years of college

I did enjoy Zimas (and never thought of them anything close to beer.) A Zima with a shot of Chambord poured in can be like heaven in a bottle

Love it! As a matter of fact I am drinking one right now. I am the opposite from a few of you...I do not care for Bud or anything similar. I like the microbrews more and actually my favorite is Boddingtons Ale from Manchester UK. Just wish the stuff werent so expensive.

If you only drink domestic, you are not drinking beer.
