Hi All :goodvibes

Does anyone else get very emotional while at WDW? I have so many "moments" while we're there, like.....

Going through the Disney gateway for the first time in ages?:sad1: :rolleyes1

Watching Wishes?

Watching Illuminations? (the music feels like it's soaring through my very soul!)

Watching the opening ceremony at MK, i always have a huge lump in my throat:hug:

Am i alone in this? or are a few of you the same?

I KNOW that's why, when friends ask why we go back so often, we love to vacation here, over and above ANYPLACE else in the world:love:

It's THE most magical place on earth:grouphug:

What do you think? What makes you return time and again?:goodvibes

I agree with all the the above Audrey. I also get tearful at Fantasmic and I could bawl my eyes out on our last day. We talk about going elsewhere for holidays but somehow always end up back at WDW. There is nowhere quite like it. It's lovely to escape the adult world for a couple of weeks :)

YES!!! ::yes:: ::yes:: ::yes::

I'm sitting here on the sofa discussing future holiday plans with DH and I just got a little teary thinking about that first walk down Main Street USA... :goodvibes

Yes, i'm a huge cry baby at Disney! But they are happy joyous tears!

I cried during Wishes and Illuminations, I get quite emotional during Spectromagic and I just love watching the faces of little kids when they see their favourite character!

There aren't even words to describe how much we're looking forward to seeing our little princess experience all the wonderful things we love about Disney for the first time :cloud9:

Phil loves it too, its like an escape from the real world :goodvibes However, I don't think he's ever felt moved to tears except when he got stuck on the monorail once for 40 minutes with no air conditioning in 92F heat. I'm sure he was almost ready to cry then! :rotfl2:

i do too, i get a lump in my throat when i hear "can you feel the love tonight", or when i drive through the WDW arch, or when i get the boat over to the MK. there's loads of moments. i never used to get all emotionaly about these things but i'm getting worse as i get older!

Yes, it seems the older we get the more sentimental we get;) at least i do anyway;)

Yep, i would cry if i was locked in that heat too!!!:rotfl:

i get emotional reading trip reports ;) im even worse when im actually there !

Spectromagic and watching the sun coming down over the lake by the Disney resorts are my crying moments!

I'm not ashamed to admit I've been known to get something in my eye when I'm visiting Disney. Usualy during the fireworks or when I see one of the characters. I don't know why but there always seems to be loads of grit around on our last day that just keeps on getting in my eye and making them water. Not that I'm crying you understand, I'm far too manly for that.....really..........

I am always emotional at DW. I have been there 6 times 7 is on its way in May the 1st thru the 15th. Yep we are doing it all out right. It is our 10 year wedding Anniversary and can't wait to spend quality time there, and not feel rushed to do it all in one day or 5 days. Everytime I watch Philharmagic, I get so tearyeyed! Or when we get to the Main Gates. :woohoo:
I love the Disney experiences that I have with my son and husband.

Always - I was watching back some video the other day amd I can see myself tearing up at park opening and during the 'castle' show.

Wishes - even on tv sets me off

I'm even worse now I have kids :goodvibes

It's good to hear i'm not alone in my sentimentality:hug:

I went for my first trip to WDW earlier this year and thinking about everything brings tears to my eyes. :cloud9:
I am so adamant i want to go back next year (and the next and the next...) but with DS2 turning 2 its even more expensive and DH is going to have a nervous breakdown if I mention it again.
The parades really got me and just looking at the castle at night. The biggest blubbing moment I think was when my DD who is 3 ran screaming, "It's Minnie Mouse! It's Minnie Mouse!", when she met her for the first time in AK and Minnie just kneeled down and hugged her. I think I need a tissue now...............

 Awww Glenda, we all understand completely:hug:

Whan you do eventualy go back, you will appreciate it all the more! It's just a pity we have to pay for it isn't it? or i would be there for most of the year:grouphug:

Thanks for all the

I'm just glad I've found some like minded people to share these things with. DH just thinks I'm either losing the plot or regressing back to childhood....
As if!!

I agree at our first wishes in 2006 my wife burst into tears watching the show,it was wonderful.

I love coming here and being reassured that it isn't just me that is such a big softie! I routinely cry at trip reports, Disney adverts on the tele and even sometimes when I'm doing my planning - and that is even before we get in a park! The first time we went to DLRP I cried for most of the week, but only because I was so intensely happy. Wishes is the biggie for me, followed by Spectro and watching the Disney Dreams Come True show on our last day last year REALLY wasn't a good idea.....

Laur's princess:

The last time i went WDW i remember watching the characters outside the castle and i had to blink back tears as i didnt want my friend to think i was a saddo.

Hi There and Welcome to the saddo's club!:rotfl: There are plenty of us around here, please feel free to pull up a chair and have a good old blub:) Tissues will be provided for your convenience;)
