Does anyone else feel this way?

It's less than 48 hrs and I'm ready to go ballistic. No one else in the family seems to want to help do anything to get ready. I'm trying to get clothes washed, floors swept and at least some of the dishes done since we have relatives coming by to check on the animals.

Am I the only one with a family like this? I'm ready to say &*@@# this and forget the whole thing!

Hang in there...I just went through the same frustration before our DL trip. I think the only thing that kept me going was the thought of my little one on Alice in Wonderland and Dumbo.

The Mom is the glue that keeps the family and everything else together...

Break down the duties and hand them out. Checklists seem to work well here. There is no need for you to take on everything.

I agree with the above post. Take a moment to calm down and then designate specific tasks that have to be completed before anyone gets to go anywhere. I've found myself angry because no one would help me only to realize that I just needed to speak up and be specific. Have a wonderful trip!
