Does anyone else do this?

I find that when I weigh meself I get on the scale very slowly and carefully. Like I might weigh less if I get on slowly. My dh caught me doing this yesturday and thought it was pretty funny.

I do the same thing! It's almost like you're sneaking up on the scale and want to surprise it to give you a lower number!

I also weigh myself at two if not three times to make sure I get the same reading. I also use both a digital and a regular scale. The regular scale is lighter by 3 pounds but I go with the higher weight on the digi scale. I know I have a scale weighing addiction but hey I could have a much worse addiction!

I am glad to know that I'm not the only one that does this. Thanks for letting me know there are others out there. I lock my bathroom door so that no one catches me.

I have to have the scale in the same place and I weigh myself at least 3 or 4 times at once... off and on, off and on, off and on... yes I think we are weird, well maybe not weird we just have character.

my hubby caught me getting on a few times! and pointed that out! I guess I get on about 3 times as if, I could use the best out of 3! lol

That would be me! I think mine goes back to when I used a regular (non0digital) scale. I do not know if the final number was every different from getting on slowly, but I did not like seeing the high numbers that it bounced too when I got on too quickly! Old habits are hard to break.

Has to be in the same place on the floor, same day of the week (Wed) before breakfast and shower, totally naked, at least 2 tries, and get on very slowly. After all it bounces way up there if you jump on it!

Yep, I guess if it doesn't see me coming it can't add those extra ounces I know it does.

I also do the same place on the floor thing. Oh and I try to wear about the same thing, like pajamas cause they are lighter than regular clothes.
